PERFORMANCE:

The linden is well machined and easy to work with hand tools, making it an ideal species for carving. It holds the screws better than the nails, tails reasonably well and can be sanding, dyed and polished to a smooth, good finish. It dries quickly with low deterioration and has good dimensional stability when dry.
The wood is not durable but is impregnable with protection treatments.

MAIN USES:

This unique leafy, it is considered the best species for Venetian blinds and interior shutters. It is widely used for carving, turning, molding and furniture manufacturing. Specialized uses include musical instruments and fabrication patterns, especially for piano pieces.
