MADERAS WOODS

FRESNO (ASH) K.D.

FRESNO (ASH) K.D.

PERFORMANCE:

The ash-sawn wood is well-machined, self-nailed, screwed and well and can be dyed and polished to a very good finish. Black-dyed ash has experienced, in furniture, several fashion cycles successfully. The wood dries fairly easily and with minimal deterioration. Having good stability, it moves little commissioning. Ash veneer is well laminated to produce boards. The heartwood of the ash is not resistant to rot and is moderately impregnable with protective treatments, although the sapwood is impregnable. This makes ash a suitable wood for thermal modication, as currently demonstrated by its widespread use on facades, exterior pavements, work upercrees and garden furniture.

MAIN USES:

Its main uses are: furniture, floors, doors, fine cabinetmaking and moldings, kitchen furniture, and handles for tools and sports products.
